Craniosacral Therapy is a system of gentle, light touch, listening and the good intention to evaluate and invite the body to change and heal itself. It is a technique for evaluating and correcting the functioning of the Craniosacral system made up of the fluid and membranes that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Imbalances, restrictions, or blockages in this system can be the cause of dysfunction in tissues, posture or even emotions. Restrictions can be caused on a variety of forms:
Physical, mental, emotional, chemical, and hormonal. What may start out as a restriction in energetic flow can eventually show up on the physical level as a sticky place in the fascia. The cranial rhythm will have a different quality in an area where it is not fully expressed.
This approach is a non-invasive method that enhances the function of the central nervous system and it is light touch that monitors the cranial sacral rhythm, to locate restrictions in the body. The Craniosacral system produces and absorbs (CSF) cerebrospinal fluid, secreted by the brain providing healthy fluid for the brain and nervous system. This fluid provides nutrients to cells, the removal of toxin and waste products from the tissue, the circulation if immune cells increasing the body's natural defenses against diseases, and also increases blood flow to organs and tissue.
What can you expect?
During a session you lie on a massage table while fully clothed. As a practitioner, I have learned to recognize levels of stillness and movement that extend through the fascial system of the body, which respond with gentle touch to bring the motions back to balance. During and after treatment, most clients notice an overall sense of relaxation and quieting of the mind.
Release comes naturally. Often your body releases a restriction as soon as the ( practitioner) brings awareness to the area. Simply holding the awareness of your body's innate cranial rhythm. After a session, release and integration may continue for a few hours or several days, and it's good to give yourself time to integrate the changes you've made.
** Also it is important to note that while a single session can have noticeable effects, it often takes multiple sessions to achieve the results you are seeking.
Are there any conditions that should NOT be addressed with CranioSacral Therapy?
There are a few situations in which CST is not recommended. They include any conditions in which slight variations in inter-cranial pressure would cause instability, such a acute aneurysm, recent skull fracture, and cerebral hemorrhage or other severe bleeding disorders. If you have any questions about whether this situations apply to you, seek the advice of your physician before receiving CST session.
How it can it help?
CranioSacral Therapy is a complementary modality used for a wide range of illness helping to create the optimal conditions for health while encouraging vitality and facilitating a sense of well-being. It's suitable for people of all ages including babies, children, the elderly, and can be effective in acute or chronic cases such as:
Facilitating The Body To Heal Itself
Somato-Emotional Release (SER) is an advanced therapeutic process that expands on the principles of Craniosacral Therapy to help rid the mind and body of the residuals of trauma. This gentle hands on technique helps to find and release energy patterns in the body that holds emotions.
This technique can also help with a variety of physical and emotional problems such as pain, relationship problems, family issues, trauma of the past and anxiety of the present and more.
Treatments include recognizing that injury tissues store a memory of traumatic event. That memory results in contractions that are often a root cause of the pain being experienced. Treatments allow mind to become aware of those memories and relax the contractions, effectively reducing or eliminating the pain. Knowing each person is unique, I modified the release process to meet each individual's needs.
Somato-Emotional Release is not counseling. Someone working with a counselor may find the somato-emotional release to be very powerful tool in facilitating their work with their counselor. Many individuals also benefit from somato-emotional release who do not need counseling services.
The Somato-Emotional Release (SER) process requires extreme sensitivity on the part of the therapist and a positive trust from the client/patient.
Myoskeletal /Neuromuscular/Myofascial Therapy release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and re-balance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct neuromuscular/myofascial release is a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous system. Consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle spam.
Muscles that are in spasm will be painful to the touch. The pain is caused by ischemic muscle tissue. Ischemia means the muscle is lacking proper blood flow, usually due to the muscle spasm. This in turn creates the following undesirable process:
After the muscle is relaxed through massage therapy, the lactic acid will be released from the muscle, and the muscle should start receiving enough blood and oxygen.
Neuromuscular therapy will feel painful at first, but the pressure of the massage should alleviate the muscle spasm. At this point, it is extremely important to communicate with the massage therapist regarding the pressure - whether the pressure is too much, too little, getting better, getting worse. The therapist should listen and respond accordingly. The massage therapy pressure should never be overly painful. In fact, most people describe the pressure as “good pain"
Following a neuromuscular therapy massage, any soreness that presents itself should fade after twenty four to thirty- six hours. The muscles that were tight should remain noticeably more relaxed for fourteen days, depending on stress.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. Sport Massage is generally shorter in length than other massage modalities, and may utilized to waarm up the muscles prior to a workout or sports event, or to help prevent soreness afterwards.

An Important Note
The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating. Most photos you’ll see of Hot Stone Therapy will feature a gorgeous model looking very relaxed with stones laid out all over her body. Most of these pictures don’t even have a therapist in them. It’s understandable that most people would think that’s what a Hot Rock Therapy is! Indeed, some practitioners do sessions this way, but I do NOT leave you alone at any point with rocks on you. I massage you the entire time, changing the stones every few minutes so that there is a constant flow of heat, movement and pressure to bring maximum relief to tired, sore or restricted areas.

Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) opens and facilitates the flow of vital life force within the human body and energy field. The IET techniques painlessly awaken and clear core cellular memory which has been suppressed within the body, mind and spirit; assisting the release of old energy patterns and promoting the self healing process.
This unique method provides gentle and powerful support for anyone seeking relief from the discomfort which blocked energy can create. Some examples of life experience which can lead to blocked energy flow within the body are childhood traumas such as suffering physical or emotional abuse, or growing up in alcoholic or dysfunctional families. Yet, in this stress-laden culture, it is not necessary to have survived a trauma for our bodies to be burdened with energy stagnation. Some common causes of energy blockage within the body are: Physical injury, accidents, surgery, disease, exhaustion, emotional crisis, suppressed feelings, prolonged stress, fear, and self limiting thoughts.
IET works to detect and support the release of congested energy from the cellular memory of the body and then assists in clearing the associated energy blockage from the human energy field. As energy blockages which limit health, life purpose, prosperity, sexuality, and creativity are cleared, the life force which has become restricted through physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual trauma is freed and the body, mind and spirit are rebalanced.
How It Works
IET is a channeled energy therapy. In working with this system, the practitioner is a vessel through which angelic energy is channeled for the purpose of healing. When coupled with the techniques employed to gently stimulate and release energy held on a cellular level within the body, this angelic energy creates the healing system known as Integrated Energy Therapy.
The IET techniques are based on a unique cellular memory map in which 9 primary locations are identified as storage areas for suppressed emotion. These locations include the major organ and endocrine systems of the body as well as the chakras. Using gentle therapeutic touch, healing energy is directed into these specific areas on the body. Energy blocks are then released and cleared through the IET techniques and power points located along the spine.
As the blockage associated with the original disturbance is located and cleared, the suppressed charge of energy dissipates and rebalances within the field. In this way IET provides a simple, gentle, and nurturing way to open the flow of vital life force within the human body and energy field.
Treatment
An IET session lasts from one to one and a half hours in length. The person receiving relaxes, fully clothed, on a massage table with a pillow or bolster under their knees to protect the low back from undue stress. Blankets and extra pillows are also available to increase comfort. The recipient remains comfortably positioned and facing up for the entire session.
The area in which the session is offered is arranged to promote a feeling of relaxation and peace. It is normally quiet with only the addition of soft music. The person receiving can focus on themselves, going deep within, and take a break from daily stress and tension.
What to Expect
Once the session is complete, the person receiving is invited to take a few moments to absorb and integrate the work before beginning to sit up. It is common to experience a deep sense of peace and renewal following a treatment. At least an hour of free time is recommended following the appointment to allow for a gradual reentry into the world. Eating a healthy meal, taking a walk, or sitting quietly are activities which often serve as a good transition to resuming whatever is planned for the rest of the day.

Through meditation and the directing of energy within myself, I move into a semi-quantum state which allows me to be in a client's vibration. Specific details of how distance energy healing works takes decades of study.
Energy Healing both in-person and distance are both non-linear; any linear description would not come close to describing how it actually works, but I do try to give a short description.
*Energy Healing : The art of energy healing, simply put, is to manage the frequency and the flow of energy within the human body, and to stimulate the body's innate ability to heal itself. That, of course, is not necessary a simple thing to achieve.
Energy Healing is better describe as quantum healing, because when energy is projected from one being into another it exist in a quantum state. "

A New Approach to Bodywork
Bowenwork is a gentle, soft-tissue bodywork technique that resets dysfunctional myofascial tensions and facilitates the body's innate healing mechanisms. increasingly sough by clients who desire approaches to pain relief, postural realignment and relaxation. Bowenwork is a facilitative process, minimal moves on the body , plus pauses, coax its innate healing mechanisms toward self-restoration and relaxation.
The technique notably affects the autonomic nervous system (ANS) shifting it form sympathetic dominant to parasympathetic homeostasis. During a session, clients tend to experience deep relaxation, may fall asleep, and often, tummy can be heard.
The late Mr. Tom Bowen, from Geelong, Australia, developed this technique from 1950s -1980s and helped thousands of people including infants, children and adults, disabled and elderly, with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
Bowenwork benefits
Bowenwork can be effective for recovery from multiple health issues in acute and chronic conditions including:
A Bowenwork Session
The technique is performed with the client, lightly dressed, seated or lying comfortably on a massage table. When clients initially observed and experience this subtle technique, it may seem a little mysterious on its minimal approach, with the practitioner applying some hands-on work, interspersed with hands-off delay.
Applying a series of gentle, rolling moves to specific locations, over the skin, fascia, muscles, tendons or ligaments, in a manner not typically seen in other techniques . Sets of moves are followed by hands-off pauses fro two minutes or longer, to allow the body to integrate multiple sensory signals in propioceptors and nerves pathways, within various layers of tissue.
In addition to feelings the practitioner's movements, clients may feel a variety of sensations during the session, such as a tingling, increased warmth in the extremities, tissue tension releases, increased relaxation, and less pain; or not feel anything at all. Effects of the work can be observed during a session, a little later, or even a few days afterward, as each person responds differently to the technique.
Principles of Bowenwork
A deeper look into some of the physiological mechanisms at play helps shed some light on the Bowenwork process, including an osteophathic principle put forth by John Hilton in 1863-over 150 years ago - that still hold true today.
Getting started in Bowenwork
Bowenwork is safe for people of all ages, including babies, children, adults, pregnant women, and the elderly.
Mind and Body As One
Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.
